There isn't much in life that is as cathartic as making a list of songs that you can listen to over and over again that have meaning to you and then just putting them on shuffle when you are having a bad day.

I can say with unequivocal authority that is is not good when your husband instant messages you when you are in the middle of the lecture and the following pops up on the powerpoint screen: "Illusions, Michael. A trick is something a whore does for money. Or candy!"

You are in first and in the 3/3 lap and all of a sudden life, or some jerk who is in last place pulls out the nasty blue shell a la mario kart. BAM. You go from 1st place to last in a matter of the 3 seconds it takes you to get back on your feet. The good news is that you always do. Even under pressure. I'm a busy wife and mom who works and goes to school. I constantly feel like my life is high pressure. There are a lot of anxious moments and my blog is one of my ways of letting off steam. Welcome to the cooker.
